I booked this property expecting a hotel-style stay, but the experience was very misleading. At checkout, we were suddenly told we owed additional charges for electricity usage — something never disclosed on Expedia’s listing. I’ve stayed at hotels all over the world and have never once been billed for utilities. Guests should be made aware of this before booking. Beyond that, some of our personal items went missing from the bathroom during the stay, which left us feeling uncomfortable and unsafe. For the amount we paid, the experience was stressful instead of relaxing. Beautiful island, but I would not return to this property.

Very nice villa and clean. The area is just secluded and the staff was half & half. They had a couple team members ready to help you at every giving moment and then half of the others barely greet you just stare at you. Also they have a lot of hidden fees so beware.

My family and I stayed at the Blue Bay Beach and Golf Resort specifically The Ridge for 7 nights. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The view and the infinity pool was perfect. We opted into the breakfast package, which was tasty and very convenient to get the day started with. We did rent a car vehicle, which I highly recommend if you plan on exploring the island and free parking was available. Depending how many nights you stay you are allocated a certain amount of units for electric and water. If you go over then you will have to pay. We went over but the cost was $23.50. We did forget to turn the AC off when we left out for the day a couple of times. We beach hopped a lot but if you plan to just stay on the Resort, Blue Bay Beach was beautiful and calm. The beach itself is fairly small but during our stay it wasn’t super crowded. Overall I rate the property 9/10 and would stay again.
