Didn't realize when we booked it that this would be the closest hotel to the ferries! Loved the location, staff were so sweet, and for the price, it's a perfect stay! My only complaints were that the room was a bit musty and the TV barely had channels that worked. But if you could care less about both of those things, then it's a 10/10!

The outside card readers were not working for our cards and several other guests. the parking lot has limited spots and is very narrow. The dog run area is very small.

Great hotel, clean, friendly. Across the street from the ferry, dining options are walkable. This is our favorite place to stay when visiting St. Ignace.

Great location and comfortable stay!

Friendly staff and comfortable, clean room. Loved that our room had an outdoor patio with table and chairs and the hotel is only a short walk to the Mackinac Island ferries.

Clean and bigger room, awesome staff, a lot to do (mini golf, bowling, arcade, and a list full of free activities throughout the day). Good food selection and everything has tasted great so far. Breakfast and parking ($20) is not included. Totally worth the drive and money.

I can’t say enough good things about Budget Host Inn! The location of the property is convenient to the Mackinac ferries, if you’re interested in that. But the best things about the property are the people and the quality of service. We spoke with 6 or more staff about basic ‘area’ questions and they were all friendly and made helpful suggestions, on topics ranging from food to local activities. And the BEST thing about this stay is the CLEANLINESS. I don’t know if they have recently remodeled - but the rooms have a very crisp, very clean presentation. They smell good. The office smells clean! If you choose places to stay based on reviews - you can’t go wrong here. We traveled 900 miles and this was such a pleasant landing spot. We hated to leave the comfort and fun vacay vibe. Highly recommend!
