Nice Modern Hotel but not very central

Pros: Rooms and overall ambience of hotel and service from staff was very good making it an enjoyable stay,
Cons: wi-fi access was limited to public areas-an extra fee if you wanted it in your room-unacceptable for the price you pay per night.
Location: not much to do in the immediate area, this district is full of big name hotels and nothing else, must go elsewhere for food/entertainment/sightseeing
the hotel itself is lovely and modern. Big spacious rooms with all essential amenities and staff very helpful. Close to the beach (approx. 5 mins walk) but be aware that this is not the main Barceloneta Beach. It is not near the beach bars, restaurants and clubs so if this is what you are expecting then this is not the right end of the beach you want to be at. To get to these parts you must take some mode of transport, walking is too far! The area the hotel is in is full of big, modern and well known hotel brands. Its opposite a decent shopping center so it's easy to get essentials you might need however other than this there isnt much to do in this area. There are no restaurants or bars other than the ones in the shopping mall which is just typical shopping mall food (i.e McDonalds and chain brands), so dont expect anything special. The main attraction sites and entertainment are further away/much more central to Barcelona but are easily accessed by public transport. The rooftop pool is lovely with great views but it is a very small area with only 10 sun-loungers and limited seating, so it gets very crowded very quickly and definitely doesnt meet the needs of a hotel this size. But if you can get a spot it's worth relaxing there for the afternoon.

Hotelli messukeskuksen rakennuksessa

Pros: Lähellä palveluita.
Cons: Ikävät tuplalaskutusyritykset pois, niin kaikki on OK.
Location: Messukävijälle loistava valinta.
Lyhyt matka messuksekukseen, mutta hotellilla on ikävä tapa yrittää laskuttaa palveluistaan tupalasti. Etukäteen maksetusta aamiaisesta lähtien aina hotellin tekemiin päällekäispuukkauksiin.

Gut ausgestattetes Hotel

Pros: Den Ausblick den wir vom Zimmer aus hatten.
Cons: die Dachterrase mit dem Pool vergrössern.
Location: Man kann alles von dort aus mit Bus Fahrrad Taxi erreichen. Zu Fuss ist man gleich im Shoppingcenter oder am Strand.
Wir waren für 3 Nächte dort, das Hotel ist umgeben von einem grossen Schoppincenter und vielen kleinen Bars und Restaurants. Das hat uns sehr gefallen, auch das der Strand gleich in der Nähe war, fanden wir super. Leider war der Aufenthalt zu kurz, aber wir werden Barcelona ganz sicher wieder bereisen. Was wir leider sehr Schade fanden das das Zimmer nacht Kanalisation gerochen hat, sollte eigentlich in einem solchen Hotel nicht sein. Was wir auch nicht besonders toll fanden war die kleine Dachterrasse mit dem zu kleinen Pool für soviele Hotelbesucher. Sonst waren wir rundum zufrieden.
