I liked everything about the property. Staff was great! My only problem was with the fact that the dining room did not open until 8 pm. We Canadians like to eat between 5 - 6 pm but I guess that's my problem, not the hotel's... We ate both dinners at the Italian restaurant next door.

Wonderful location with an amazing hotel manager

We stayed 5 nights in a family room which was basically 2 rooms connected by a hallway. This allowed for much space, especially for European standards. The rooms are clean and comfortable, a little dated and nothing too fancy but what really makes up for it is the amazing hotel manager Roberta. We had an issue with smelling an unpleasant odor from one of the room bathrooms and from the get go Roberta was SO responsive immediately following up personally, making sure we were comfortable and taking care of the entire process throughout. They ended up finding out the cause but this took much persistence once again thanks to Roberta. The breakfast room/bar is beautiful and the spread was very nice. Location is superb, steps away from the best shopping in Barcelona and only minutes away from Las Rambla as well. My only recommendations would be some minor improvements to really make the hotel shine. There is an exterior windowed opening which the elevators and certain rooms look out to that the hotel could easily decorate with window boxes and plants leading to a gorgeous view instead of the plain, stark current view. Finally, a coat of paint in the rooms would freshen them up nicely and really take the hotel to the next level. We look forward to staying at the Gallery again- thank you Roberta!!

All we could say is WOW!!!!! Absolutely the best staff we have ever experienced! So attentive, kind, patient and is always trying to help to make our trip better. Miguel, Pablo and the rest of the staff made our stay there absolutely amazing. The room is nice and the area is a must! Everything is accessible and sites are close to property.
