Location is great! Walkable and close to public transportations. Staff is friendly, Although there is no 24 hour availability In my room there are two outlets, one is in the bathroom where I cannot put my devices because the position is awkward to make full use of it. The other is close to bed, also in an awkward position. I wish there was one close to the desk. Breakfast, basic but gets you going. Like the 24 hour coffee/hot water machine.

We booked a balcony room, but they put us on the room connected to the patio which was a bit shady. Also, we received no communication upon check-in even during reception hours, which led us to being locked out after arriving only minutes after reception “closed”. We had to ask other guests coming in for help and could not get a hold of the reception until we used a Spanish phone to call their emergency number. We ended up having a great time here, but it’s important to note that the reception communication may not be great and be careful when booking a “balcony” room.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mihlton B&B. Loved the outdoor terrace space and generous breakfast every morning. The Coffee/Cappuccino macine was fantastic. The rooms were quiet and with comfortable bed.We would definitely stay again when in Barcelona. Close to the Sagrada Familia and city bus lines. We had a very relaxing stay here. The desk reception stafd Rodrigo was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Loved it.

The hotel was extremely safe. The staff were happy and helpful. Lovely rooms and the breakfast had such a varied choice, all delicious of course. I did see the option of bucks fizz too, what a treat. Tea, coffee, still water, fizzy water and wine with nibbles all complementary. We had a great city break and would certainly recommend.

Cozy Stay in the heart of Barcelona

I had a wonderful stay at Mihlton Barcelona B&B. The service was wonderful. Check in process was very friendly and provided lots of information. My room was cozy and clean. The common areas were charming. The large outdoor terrace was an especially nice place to be after wandering around the city. The breakfast (very reasonable price) was excellent. Lots of meat & cheese varieties, breads, and some baked goods made for a great start to the day. This was also centrally located steps from a main metro line making it easy to get around. Founds this to be excellent value for the price and would recommend!

Barcelona April 2025

The Mihlton B&B is in a good location, which is easy to get to from the airport (via the underground). The video sent prior to our arrival was also very helpful for getting into the property outside of the manned Reception hours. Public areas, e.g. Reception, Breakfast room are nicely presented and clean. Our room (3) was a good size, with 3 single beds, a seating area, a wardrobe and en suite bathroom. There was also a small balcony, with bistro table and chairs; we didn’t use this as it was tiny and overlooking a busy road. The bathroom was fairly clean, although the shower area had a good deal of black mould; towels were reasonable size. The main floor was covered in tiles, it was a nice design, but there were a number of broken tiles. Servicing of rooms was available as required. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. We tried the breakfast option on one of our days; it cost 13 euros each. We ate cereal and toast; the fare was mainly meat, cheese and eggs. The outside terrace was a good place to sit and enjoy the sun. There were additional free items provided by the B&B, e.g. a drink station, coffee, tea and water; nibbles and cake; wine cooler with house red and white wine.

Property can be hard to find. They have a tiny sign on the wall, sandwiched between two bigger buildings. WiFi was down the first night. AC did not work throughout the whole stay. Room smelled like moisture was trapped in the walls; mixed with sewage. Pretty noisy at night for the first few nights. Staff was very accommodating when needed. Breakfast was delicious. Location is perfect for walking to stores, train station and entertainment.

We were not given the room we booked and paid for. The room wasn’t very well sound proofed - you could hear every word of people talking in the neighboring rooms. However, the staff were LOVELY, amazing location, despite the noise, the room was great - good size and very comfortable. Complimentary wine and coffees were a nice touch. We had a good stay, thank you!

The location is optimal either to walk around the city or to take the train and head out somewhere. The staff is very cordial, accommodating and always there when you need them. The fact that water, coffee and wine were available at all times it’s a plus. The terrace is a really nice place to spend some time.
