Nice hotel let down by the breakfast

Really nice hotel however heavily let down by the breakfast. Very limited variety of food and didn't tast nice with cheap quality ingredients. Coffee was not drinkable. Also the food at the breakfast was not replenished quickly.

Stayed here recently and it was just okay. The location is good and the room was clean and comfy, but there were a few annoying things. The Wi-Fi was a hassle—you had to re-register every few hours, which got really frustrating. The parking lot was also hard to find and super tight. If you’re driving anything bigger than a compact car, good luck fitting into the tiny spaces. Breakfast was a letdown too. Not much variety, and once food ran out, it didn’t get refilled. If you didn’t show up early, you were out of luck. Overall, decent enough for a short stay—but definitely room for improvement.

Terrible policies

The hotel is operated by heartless people who prioritize profit over their guests' well-being. I experienced a medical emergency and requested a reservation change, not a cancellation, without penalty. I provided a letter from my doctor stating that I CAN'T travel due to health issues, but they still decided to charge the full amount. It's shocking how little empathy some have. I've stayed at this hotel before, and as a senior citizen in a serious situation, I expected more compassion. Instead, they didn't care. What a pity.

Wouldn’t stay here again. At one point, water poured in from the room above me. When looking for the source of the sound of “rain”, I slipped bc my room was flooded. When I informed staff, there was no explanation or apology, they just sent someone to my room to fix it. The room smelled like sewage/feces. Very unhappy with the service and accommodations. Don’t count on reliable WiFi here. There was no offer to refund or reimburse for this terrible stay.

I reserved this hotel almost a month in advance because they stated they have enough parking space for my car on the premises. When I checked in, I was told that the parking was full and they suggested that I park my car in public parking.... I had to park in the closest public parking, several blocks away, which cost me around 30 euros one night and was most painfully time-consuming. No serious hotel

Como en todas mis reseñas, evalúo tres aspectos clave: A. Ubicación, B. Servicio, C. Relación precio/calidad. En este caso, también hay un punto adicional que vale la pena destacar. A. Ubicación: En Bilbao no hay Uber, así que lo ideal es comprar la tarjeta Barik en el aeropuerto y usar el transporte público. El hotel está a solo 200 metros de la parada del autobús desde el BIO y a 400 metros del estadio San Mamés y su estación intermodal. Además, hay supermercados, restaurantes y cafés por todas partes. Todo queda a una corta caminata, perfecta para bajar los pintxos. B. Servicio: Llegamos antes del check-in y nos dieron la habitación de inmediato. El personal fue muy amable en todo momento. Nos ofrecieron el desayuno, pero con tantas opciones cerca, no lo tomamos. C. Relación precio/calidad: Las habitaciones no están bien insonorizadas, así que el descanso puede verse afectado. Aun así, el gimnasio es excelente: amplio, bien equipado, con A/C, agua fría y toallas. Lo mejor que vimos en nuestra ruta. Extra – Impacto social: Este hotel forma parte de una organización que emplea al menos un 40% de personas con discapacidad. Un detalle que merece aplauso y que nos motiva a volver, incluso con los problemas de ruido. Mi opinión: Un hotel con propósito, buena ubicación y excelente atención. Volveremos. Outdated bathroom with water damage on doors and very poor shower. Toilet also squeezed into a very narrow section where the toilet roll holder cut you if you not careful. Ac also failed to work. Value for money also poor. Breakfast is also a 1 star experience. I'll never stay here again.
