Just a bad experience

Plumber had to be called because the toilet/water was not working. The TV was not working and ultimately, we had to move to a smaller room but was not offered a refund r discount. We have stayed at A1A multiple times, but this was a bad experience, and we will be staying at Island Cottage moving forward.

The place was ok but too expensive for a place without staff, office or breakfast and a late check-in at 4pm and an early chechout at 11 sharp you won't have a full afternoon the first day not a full morning the day you leave. The location in front of the beach is convenient and there 2 or 3 eating places at a walking distance, for more you need to drive. Will not come back nor recommend it.

Nice boutique hotel directly across from the beach with easy beach access. The room was small but very clean and nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Only suggestion would be: knowing we were going to be 3 nights and there was no daily housekeeping, would have been nice to have enough towels for the entire stay. Fortunately we were able to catch the house keeper, who was extremely nice, and trade towels one day. We would stay here again!

Location! Location! Location!

Location was unbeatable: directly across the street from the beach. Walking distance to town of Flagler Beach’ attractions including restaurants, bars, parks . Virtually no services on site, but comfortable, clean room. This cute, old Florida no frills motel is for sale

Very cute and cozy spot right off the water. Everything is within walking distance. I absolutely loved the bed. Comfy, clean, well designed. The room even had it's own Keurig and ice maker. Definitely loved the vibe of this place. All in all a great stay. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Rustic stay by the beach

Place is older and rustic but it has everything you need. It is clean. Was good for an overnight stop and probably good for a summer stay as it is right near the beach. There is a great eating spot Ocean Grill near by.

Property is right across the street from the beach which is nice, the property itself is a little run down and could use some attention. Queen room is very small and the bed was very uncomfortable. Definitely wouldn’t say it was worth the $250 a night we spent but, to each his own!

I hated this stay! We have stayed in places all over Florida and by far this was the worst experience ever. AC didn't work. Ice make outside was barricaded off and probably had not worked for years. The place is falling apart. Their website is a total farce. Total misrepresentation of the place. AWFUL, TERRIBLE, HORRIBLLE. DO NOT STAY HERE. THE PLACE IS NOW FOR SALE
