The construction noise was unbelievable during the day. Forget trying to rest after a long haul flight - that drilling noise was ridiculous no and you won’t be resting any time soon. Should be half the price
Location of the hotel is perfect because it’s nearby the metro, shopping street and walkable distance to quite a few places of interest. Only issue with the room and bathroom is that they’re tiny!
Limited service from elevators was a nuisance
However breakfast buffet was great

Didn’t make the hotel, husband was rushed into hospital, tried to cancel at least 24hrs in advance while we’re were in a&e, the hotel and Expedia couldn’t care less, they wouldn’t let us cancel and wouldn’t refund us.

Old but good price for centre of London stay.
Check in was fine, but we took the wrong turn to our room and ended up being confronted by a security guard sat in the corridor…have no idea what was going on there but it was a bit intimidating. Room was very old, there were no plugs near the beds, I had to stand on a chair to close the blind and the shower gel container was empty. The queues for the 4 lifts was crazy, they just didn’t seem to work efficiently. We were hardly in the room so in that sense it was fine, and the price was good in that respect.
Very convenient location for theatres and shops. Clwan and comfortable with very friendly, helpful staff. The only drawback is the lifts. Would recommend this hotel to friends wanting a short stay in London.
Big old hotel, but it's been renovated so doesn't feel rundown. Can't beat the location – just steps from the Elizabeth line, so easy to get to/from from the airport. The hotel restaurants are just OK, so I'd skip the breakfast buffet -- just go to the cafe on the corner -- but everything else was satisfactory and good price. Will definitely stay there again!
