Check in went well. They even upgraded my room from a queen to a king! But then I was quite put off by the owner requesting a "tip" for checking my dog in! If you need more money, raise your rates. Don't ask for demeaning tips for simply doing your job!
Guest laundry did a great job.
Door keys did not work properly and required several minutes of fussing about every time we tried to use them. Owner/manager said we simply were not doing it properly, but would not come the few steps to the room to show us the "proper" procedure.
In summery, fair room at a fair price, but client service could be improved.
Used location for work trip for my employees. Everything went well. Thank you

The room smelled horrible like wet dogs. The bath dripped not stop. There was no transition from tje laminate flooring to the tile, only a large crack with sharp edges. There was no hand soap.
Older motel right on US-101. Boats were tied up in berths right across the highway. It was close to restaurants. We could hear sea lions from the balcony.
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
The roof in our bathroom was falling apart and had black mold growing out of the ceiling. Parts of the ceiling fell all over you every time you tried to shower. They have a washer and dryer on-site, I asked about it when I checked in and was told where it was! But was not told that the dryer was not working! So after washing my laundry I went to place it in the dryer, but the dryer was not working I went to the office and I was told sometimes it works and sometimes doesn't and they didn't seem to care to do anything about trying to fix it. And every laundry mat in town was closed, so I was left with wet laundry to get all night!
The key card to our door barely worked. I would constantly have to flip the sides of the card and try multiple times getting it to work. They didn’t put any type of soap in the room, they had a small conditioner bottle that hotel’s normally have but nothing to wash my hands with very inconvenient not to mention the front door was very dirty it’s like someone had something on their fingers and touched the door very disgusting.
Just a basic motel. Nothing fancy. There was a lot of damage to the room. Luckily we were only there to sleep. lol. The breakfast they served was terrible. Don't recommend but wasn't expecting it to be great.
