Very nice hotel, great location with lots of food options close by. Parking is under the hotel and very convenient. Room was clean and modern and staff very helpful. We originally book this hotel for one night but extended it to two nights due to a poor hotel experience the prior night.

Well situated for the Altestadt and the attractions. A reasonable walk from the station but acceptable. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast buffet in a light and attractive first floor breakfast room with views. The ground floor entrance is a little unprepossessing but the welcome was good and the room made comfortable by the air conditioning, which was needed. A short walk from the attractions in the city.

We spent two nights in Freiburg at this hotel. The town is beautiful and we had a great visit. So much to do and see. The market on the church square was beautiful on Saturday morning. A couple of things to know. It is a short walk to the hotel from the train but recommend you take the city tram. It lets off very close to the hotel. We walked but one of our luggage wheels did not survive the journey over the cobble stone streets. The room was nice but there was insufficient cooling and it was warm at night for sleeping. The hotel location is perfect for walking to most city attractions but the city rail will take you just about everywhere. A couple day pass is a good idea and inexpensive. Do not opt for the breakfast buffet. There are cheaper and better options for breakfast close by. One breakfast restaurant on the square near the church in the center of town was especially nice but can’t recall the name. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend a stay.

The only negative I can say is that the entrance to the hotel is not the easiest to find.l because you see the restaurant advertisement and not the hotel. However, that is such a minor complaimt. The room was clean and safe. The staff was so pleasnt, friendly, and helpful. The hotel was also ideally located to the tram and other locations. I highly recommend.
