Located in the heart of Lisbon, and just a short walk away from Praça do Comércio and many landmarks/iconic neighborhoods (Alfama for example), I fully recommend this hotel. Our stay had included breakfast, which was delicious. The room was small but impeccable, with enough space for two parties. Many restaurants and stores around, which was good.

Good hotel in heart of Lisbon

Lisbon is a great city (older than Rome), Very dynamic, sophisticated without the pretentiousness of Paris. Hotel LX Rossio is in the heart of the Baixa district (very touristy). Metro transit close by but very walkable. The Praca de Commercio is 5 minutes away. Hotel is comfortable, older but well maintained. The Lift is welcome due to 5 storeys. Rooms are small but comfy.

Nice shower, but some real negatives here.

Batteries must have been dead in the TV control….no TV. The toilet in a closet and there was not enough room to sit face forward. Had to turn 45 degrees on toilet to use it. Shower was very nice and leak-proof! The evening desk agent needs a course in simple courtesy. She was not pleasant. Very typical of service in the Czech Republic during the communist era - pinched lips delivered the don’t do this or that.

Amazing location. Everything is walking distance. The closest metro is 2 block away which is very helpful to get to other parts of lisbon. The breakfast could use some changing. Everything is the same everyday. The staff were attentive and helpful.

Liked the Juliette balcony overlooking the street. Lots of restaurants to choose from on the street. The room itself was a bit odd. It was small, you entered and the small washroom was just inside the door, then go down two stairs. And the bed was there with just enough space to walk around. There was a bit of noise from the street below, but we were so tired that we slept through it.

Horrible – Moldy Bathroom and Lack of Cleanliness The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room was dirty, and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting, covered in mold with a terrible smell. Clearly, cleanliness is not a priority here. I couldn’t feel comfortable during my stay. I do not recommend it and would never comeback.
