The room was clean and bright. The bed was comfy and on the 8th floor it was nice and quiet. Kitchenette was good and well equipped - bette than I had expected. The corridors to the room were ok but a touch dystopian. As a burly dude I was fine but could be intimidating if you are more vulnerable. The main front lift being broken was a pain as you could only use the back one, which was small and happened to be very far from my room. I was only there one night and things break so it may be fixed by now. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

We were booked elsewhere and it was cancelled short notice. Expedia rebooked this, which was quite a bit more above budget. Unfortunately it is in need of some basic upgrades. Please see photos, but very rusty and dirty windframes, mold on wood, the lumpiest pillows, and quite noisy at night with Lorrie’s/vans parked outside at 3am. Shame bc it has potential.

The room was fine and in good condition. It’s quite small but I appreciated having the small kitchen and especially washing machine/dryer which was the reason I booked this place. The washing machine is very very loud at certain points although when you close the door the sound is muffled and not too bad. For some reason I also thought laundry cleaner would be provided but it wasn’t so I went out and bought my own. I was only there for 4 days so I left the rest behind for the next person. I do need to mention one incident which I didn’t raise with the front desk at the time because I had bookings to get to and it kind of slipped my mind. One morning I woke to a knock on my door and opened to find two men who looked to be maintenance type staff standing there advising they needed to come in and change the mirror. I was still half asleep at this point and said right now? They said yes. I ended up letting them in (all the while inwardly berating myself for allowing this, this is how true crime stories start) and had to wait around for around an hour for the job to be done so I could get myself ready to leave. At this point the time was after 10.15am. I was not given any warning that this would be happening and I would recommend this to the hotel in future especially if occupants are solo travellers and female, at that. Outside of that, my stay was great.

The room was clean but the radiators didn’t work and the curtains did fully close. The staff were very obliging though and by 2 one of the two radiators had been fixed. Unfortunately this still left us with a cold bathroom. Otherwise it was a nice little apartment.
