We had a great stay at the Grand Royale Hyde Park. It was in an excellent location. Loved it was so near Hyde Park. It was easy to get around London - near the Underground. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very helpful. I would recommend the hotel to my friends.

Beautiful hotel, nice staff, room clean but needs a little attention to improve areas such as some maintenance and decoration. Great location. Great breakfast and bar.

Staff brilliant as ever. Room(720)....very snug, especially with a mattress smaller than bed base,a shower that wouldn't stay still once it was on and so made the bathroom floor soaking wet and what looked like mould on the ceiling......very sad. Been to the hotel many times, always been great....it felt very tired this time.

This hotel is in a fantastic location. Very quick walk to Bayswater station. Load of shopping for food or drinks. The hotel has a beautiful lobby, and it is very quiet. Our room was small as expected. Only fault was the wifi. It was excellent in the lobby’s beautiful lounge but in our room I had to stand by the door. Would stay here again.

The overall experience was fine. But the room had so many flat brown flying bugs. The hotel didn’t do anything about it except trying to change the room on the last day of our one-week stay. I will say the highlight was the breakfast. The staff for that was very nice. The front desk staff could use some work though.

The original architecture in the public areas is striking. The quality of the chesterfield sofas and chairs were so comfortable. The staff were all extremely friendly and efficient. Special mention to Carmen and Manuela, two of the breakfast staff who are so good at their job and share a tremendous work ethic with a smile. When we came down for breakfast on our second morning they knew what we drank and that I liked my toast put through the machine twice. When we return to London we will be staying at this Hotel. The one criticism is the size of the room. We booked a Deluxe Double Room only to find it is so small there isn't room for a chair.

An okay stay.

The staff were very friendly and we were given a room upgrade on arrival. However other than the reception and dining area the rest of the hotel felt very dated and in need of a refit and TLC. Our room was at the back of the hotel with the fan units out side our window (and a worker) and so we couldn't open it, luckily we had aircon in the room.
