For one of Londons best hotels, they have a major rat problem. Attended an event in the huge hall downstairs, after dinner once the lights were on we saw at least a dozen rats running around darting under the tables where the table cloths meet the floor. I am glad we never saw them in the dark! I must add, I skipped breakfast!

We had a great overall experience at this hotel – the property is beautiful, the staff was friendly and professional, and the amenities were top-notch. It’s a place with a lot of potential for a perfect stay. However, the one issue we had was a pipe that ripped during our stay, which left the carpet in our room wet for nearly half of our visit. While maintenance did fix the problem, we were disappointed that there was no compensation or adjustment offered, especially considering the amount we paid for the room. It did affect our comfort and experience. Despite this, the hotel itself is very nice, and the staff really did their best to help. With a little more attention to guest recovery in situations like this, it would be a 5-star experience.
