Unfortunately I am a bit disappointed with this stay. We stayed for one night for my birthday. Room: A birthday cake was left on the table which was a nice touch. However, very noticeably, the bed headboard was peeling badly and one big flap was half off. The side tables were so dusty The bathroom door was mouldy/water damaged. The king bed was comfortable. The sofa was laid out into a sofa bed and made up- not what we wanted, but it was a minor inconvenience for one nights stay. The room was right next to the trainline, which again is a minor inconvenience for one nights stay, but you could hear the trains, even when the blackout blinds were down, so not good for light sleepers. I did request to change rooms by phoning down to reception but was informed that I’d have to come downstairs to make that request. As I was short on time, I didn’t bother. Food: We came back to the hotel late (around 11pm) and was a bit hungry, so decided to order from the night menu- however when we scanned the app, the web page was blank, so I rang catering to be told that there is no room service available currently which again was disappointing as was not informed of this at check-in. We ended up ordering food via uber eats. Spa: I was informed at check-in that you can book your swimming slot by scanning a QR code. The silicone at the sides of the swimming pool were peeled off and flapping in the pool. Area around the pool did not look so clean. Wouldn’t stay at this Park Plaza again.

Great location.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and other public areas. We used the swimming pool and sauna with no issues. My only negative would be the lack of sinage for the stairs from the upper floors (rooms). Lifts seem to take forever and locating the stairs wasnt as easy as it should be.

Location was great, train and tube stations were easily accessible. Area was nice and quiet with a couple pubs across the street. Staff was nice and friendly. I will say that if you purchase the breakfast package, it does get very crowded so I would get down to breakfast early. Overall, would definitely stay here again!

The stay was ok, bordering on average. First time that I tried the keyless check in, using my phone as the key. This was too impersonal for my liking. A big part of hospitality is interaction with guests. Hotel was also noisy, with a lot of sound coming from the corridors. Location was good. Breakfast was average. Lighting in room was difficult to get right because of digital touch pad control. Nothing wrong with old fashion switches!

Lovely

A lovely but short stay in the hotel (we were only in London for one night!) but the room was lovely and comfortable for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids) and the bathroom huge! Lots of lovely touches for kids as it was during half term and a great breakfast (kids ate free!)

Reception lovely, Room not so much!

When we arrived the hotel reception was lovely!We arrived early and were able to leave our bags.The receptionist checked us in and gave us our room number and told us when we returned later that day to ask for our room keys. When we returned and asked for our room keys we were given a completely different room number on a Lower floor. When questioned we were advised the room was no longer available and they had no other rooms? Which we found very strange. We went to the new room number we were given on the room key card and this room was also occupied?? So we went all the way back to reception to be given a different room number on the same floor. Room was very small, bathroom extremely small!shower and toilet where beside each other with one door that slid between both so if someone was in the shower the toilet would be open! In the toilet your arms would touch the wall when standing or sitting! Awful smell from drains in bathroom! Marks on all the walls!As we opted for the eco friendly option the room would not be cleaned for the 2 nights of staying, whilst making the bed on the first morning the bed sheets where not closed together at bottom and the duvet came out which at this time upon inspection whist trying to put it back into the cover we noticed there was blood on the duvet!! We have stayed in other park plaza hotels for roughly the same cost and they have been a much much better standard! We wouldn’t choose to stay at this one again and were very disappointed!

Amazing hotel, we appreciated our room upgrade, the beds were extremely comfortable and we both got a good night sleep, we really enjoyed the spa and it was great that we could book this after we had checked out!
