I recently stayed at this hotel and it was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had. The value for money is absolutely nonexistent. They assign rooms on the 5th and 7th floors, yet the elevators have reportedly been out of service for at least two weeks. Carrying luggage up and down multiple floors was unacceptable for the price point.they are not offering help rooms shown online are clearly from the few renovated units, but the majority of the rooms are old, worn out, and far from clean. The carpets and curtains were stained and smelled unpleasant. There is no air conditioning, which is shocking for any modern hotel. The windows are like museum style wooden frames that barely open or close, letting in cold air and outside noise. Another strange detail: instead of providing complimentary water, they started to sell a week before and sell them .The towels had no fresh scent and felt poorly maintained. The bed was extremely small, barely the size of a single bed, and not even stable. The base slides to the sides with the slightest movement, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. Overall, this hotel fails in all basic standards of comfort, cleanliness, and service. I would strongly advise future guests to avoid this place there are far better options in the same area for the same or even lower price. I wish I had seen an honest review before booking; hopefully, this helps someone else.

The lift was out of action, which seemed to have been for more than a day or so. Although the room had a nice corner window the floor was squeaky walking in it and throughout the night you could hear those above you as they moved around. Stains on the carpet. The bathroom was also awkward where you walked in and had to be an acrobat around the door. Perhaps it was just unlucky…… it was room 303.

The bathroom door was warped and would not close The shower head needed a good clean only worked from 3 outlets on shower head water went all over floor when you turned it on and left running to get hot room very small for twin nowhere to put clothes as such Beds moved about if you sat on them and neither were comfortable Put clothes or no chair in room bed side lights had to be turned off from by door not next to bed Bed moved about if you sat on it Won’t be going there again appalling considering paid £225 for that one night

Only one lift, not working, staff was quite incompetent at the reception. We had our rooms on the 4th and 5th floor. When we requested that someone carry the luggage they obliged but after a grumpy response. The next morning we complained and got complementary breakfast. Great hotel & central to get about. Smells amazing. Close to tube stations & walking distance from Euston. Hotel was very clean, warm and smelt amazing. Room was comfy, a little dated but clean, decent size for twin room. Dressing table chair bit too large for the room really. Room far too hot but we turned radiators off so not a problem. Tea, coffee, water in room. Shower was really powerful. Towels great quality and fluffy. Breakfast great. Choice of cooked, continental, fresh fruit and more. Reception and dining room staff all welcoming, polite & friendly. Both reception chaps Minarul & Tanveer are a real credit to the hotel. Both so helpful. We had actually checked out, left our bags but thankfully remembered we hadn’t emptied the safe. The reception chap took me back to the room on our return to collect it. Allowed us to rest in reception before heading off to the train. Would def recommend this place.

Very convenient, very clean and many facilities and amenities that a lot of similarly priced options are lacking. Found reception staff appeared to be constantly arguing with other staff members and contractors though - but lovely with customers!

Good single room, clean -- too clean in a way as towels seemed to be replaced although I hung them as requested to show I didn't want them replaced. The TV wouldn't function after the first day, perhaps a flat battery ... pleasant breakfast room! Owing to the nature of the building, there's only one rather small (& slow) lift which was a minor problem for the elderly (such as myself) who don't fancy four flights of stairs. But despite a warning that hot water might be slow to arrive, it was fine. I may well come again; very convenient location for me.
