Weekend stay with my daughter

My daughter and I stayed for the weekend as we had pre-booked theatre tickets for Friday and Sunday and thought it would be great to spend some quality time in London. The check in was different as there was no reception just a machine, it was very easy to do yourself and get the number of key cards required. The staff were very helpful behind the bar if anything was running low in the room and housekeeping we didn't even notice they just came in and serviced the room whilst we were out. The location is so fantastic between China Town and Leicester Square everything is so accessible by walking, tube or bus. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Worst hotel I have ever almost stayed in. I called over 20 times, left 5 voicemails for 24 hours before I arrived trying to get early check in etc. No one responded to me or Expedia who reached out 3 times. Noone ever answers the phone. There's no email to contact them on the site. I sent three messages through the contact us on the site with no response. I mentioned that and the front desk lady lied to me saying they had no missed calls. I called the number and the phone rang right in front of me. They changed their story saying they were too busy with customers No customer was there.1 of the employees was playing with a bouncy ball in the lobby. There was no Ac in the main hotel.1 elevator was broken. The only other elevator was stuck at the top level. Another customer said that frequently happens and you have to use the stairs. The elevator button for my floor didn't even work. We had to carry all our bags up five flights of stairs and my friend threw her back out. The AC in the room broke. The room was dirty and gross looking. I asked for a refund and said I will just check out now and not even use the room because of how it was not what was advertised. I checked out immediately as a show of good faith that I never used the room.Staff gave me tons of attitude and said there would be no manager for a week. They refused to give me a way to contact upper management saying they would handle contacting them.They refused a refund despite me never using the room.

Great location, staff were friendly however we weren't happy to find out bags that had been left with them, still sitting in the foyer area hours later when we returned to check in, anyone could have taken them. Room was fine. Lift broke down constantly.

Great staff

We were disappointed not to be informed at check in we had to request our room to be serviced. Once we had done this though the staff went way beyond expectations. Even to the point of finding me a biscuit or two at night when i was in need. Really great staff.

Very nice hotel. Could not check-in early which was okay because they held my bags and I could use the bathroom to freshen up after a very long flight. Checked-in around 6pm. When I returned to the hitel many people were complaining the AC was not working on the 6th floor. The receptionist tried putting me on the 6th floor. I nicely asked for a different room- thank goodness there was one left and she moved me to floor 2. The hotel was clean, room was very nice. Staff was pleasant. The hotel is very close to China town- great food here. I would stay here again.

There was mold in the wood by the shower (see picture). I didn't feel well. They did not refund my money even when the fire alarm falsely went off at 5:00AM. Also, the hot water went out which made me late for excursions.

Rooms were dirty, bathroom smelled like urine, no hair conditioner. Originally they put me in a handicap accessible room which was extremely inconvenient - mirror in bathroom so below I had to stoop to use it, shower not separated so water got all over the floor. Should have given me a partial refund for putting me in a room I didn’t boon.

Can’t beat the location. Room, staff and breakfast were very good. I’d stay here again if we come back to London. We had easy walk to the Moulin Rouge musical. Walking to Chinatown, Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square were all easy breezy!

Booked a suite. I know it's London, but this was not a suite. Room had a terrible odor & dirty carpeting. Called Expedia to see if they could help considering this was a non-refundable room. They were extremely HELPFUL. They called the hotel, & tried to get us a refund. But the hotel said they wouldn't be able to let us know for a week. But the hotel was very kind & did offer to switch us to a sister hotel. This went very smoothly & the nice gentleman who checked us in at The Hotel Indigo gave us free breakfast every morning on their beautiful rooftop restaurant/bar.
