The personnel were excellent. Professional and cordial. The food was outstanding and I complement the chef. The rooms were comfortable and excellent location. The decor was outstanding. However, there were a few issues: 1. There is no food service or bar at lunch time except at the pool which is very hot and humid 2. The daily cleaning of rooms is too late in the day 3. Most of all, there was only one working elevator. This was never communicated prior to reservation. I would have expected a type of compensation for the inconvenience such as a complementary continental breakfast as a minimum

The National has a nice vintage Miami Beach Deco vibe to it. It's just a bit run down. The room seemed fine. I appreciated the bottle of espresso martini (I guess part of VIP perk- which I didn't realize I was eligible for). The lobby and lower (pool) level feel like they need an upgrade, including the bar, restaurant and small pocket lounge.

the place is beautiful and clean the attention of the employees great, until the last night of our stay . We leave our room to enjoy the beach ,the room was still not clean, when we came back the room was clean and bed done but my husband's wedding ring was gone, reported it to the manager in charge ( Ruben ) and by his own words said that it will take some time and on the meantime he recommended to file a police report, no one in charge on the night came to at least check the room so they make us right a report in a sheet ,in morning when checking out we express our situation to the manager in charge (Alejandro ) and he did apologies and promise to take care of the issue until today 6/7/2025 we have not heard anything back
