Great hotel for a family

Great stay for a family getaway. The pool was large, clean and heated. The hot tub was great too. There was also a suana. The pool area was heated and comfortable to sit while the kids swam. The breakfast was nice with many options. The lobby was beautiful, you can even borrow games for the kids to play. Well worth the money.

We rented a room as we do every single year for winter vacation just to swim for the check in the day we leave day. We woke up to find out they had to shut the pool down because they said it was not safe to swim until the chemicals were balanced. I’m certainly glad they did not let us swim when it was unsafe but that being said. The pool should have been monitored the night before and worked on after it closed in the evening. Our stay was for nothing and I feel like our money was wasted. No compensation was offered and all they said to us was pool was closed for probably the entire day. My kiddos were so bummed it was the only time of the year we get to do the winter get a way and swim. Money wasted and we won’t stay here again. Rooms smelt musty but seemed clean. The front desk staff were really nice and friendly.

Great local vacation

We had a great time at the hotel. We stayed last year for one night but this time we stayed for 2. The kids had lots of fun at the pool/hot tub and mini arcade. Everything was great!

Great stay in Newport

Awesome pool and hot tub! Fitness center is closed for refurbishment so that was a bit of a bummer, but otherwise a great one night stay. Breakfast was very basic, but well stocked. The bed was really hard, but that is personal preference.

We had a great little staycation! The rooms and facilities were clean and the kids loved the pool and hot tub! There was someone always checking the water quality and the towels were always being re-stocked! The continental breakfast and attached Applebee’s was very convenient with two young children. Short drive to downtown Newport. We traveled in the winter and the only con was the loud heating unit. It would kick on every couple of minutes. Other than that we had a great stay and would stay again!

Great local winter escape

Hotel was having renovations but we didn’t notice much extra noise or mess in the area our room was located. Pool and sauna were great, hot tub looked like it could use a good scrub though. Water had a brown tint to it. Beds were comfy and being able to go to the Applebees for dinner without going out in the freezing cold was a nice perk.

The property was clean. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The pool was clean and not freezing! The breakfast was great and included in our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed it. I would stay here again. The location is very convenient to shopping and a quick drive to downtown Newport. We had connecting rooms for our stay and it was PERFECT. We loved it.
