We enjoyed our stay in this property. The villa room that we have which was upgraded facing the beach on the top floor. The villa was amazing, and the cleaning ladies are the best. The food on the restaurants are also great, both the asian restaurant and steakhouse. There are 3 main things i did not like about this stay. 1. it is an RCI property, so prepare for people encouraging you to sit in for the Time share presentation; which our concierge kept asking for it. Our concierge is good, so i went, but otherwise it would be a waste of time during my vacation. 2. the beach isnt that amazing as its not well kept at this time; they said as the government handles it for now. Although the pool is actually amazing. 3. This one i am pretty upset; is that i called a week before our vacation and asked for reservations, they told me they can do that when I get there in person. When the day came and i asked for reservation, there was none. I booked this hotel specifically because of the restaurants; and now they cant accommodate me on any nights neither the steak house nor the asian place. I had to ask my concierge for favors to get me in. And when we are finally on the restaurant; its not even full. So, its like the reservations has been manipulated. Otherwise, the stay had been great. The staff on every restaurants are remarkable, and the cleaning ladies. they re so good, we kept giving them tips. We still had a great stay!

The Propery was large and had several poor choose from which made it nice and not crowded. There were several choices for food but the best part was the staff, all the staff was always Courteous

The hotel was nice and clean. The food was delicious. Drinks and service were great. The pools were warm. The one downside for me was the beach. It is very small and rocky in the water. If you are a beach lover this is not the place for you. I did not know that this was a time share place, so there will be people trying to sell you a time share. You can say no to the meeting. I didnt know that there is a daily tax you pay at the end. About 56 pesos a day. The restaurants were great, there are options to pay for premium things but even without these everything was great.

We had a beachfront room, and that is the way to go. It was a 10 out of 10 for the whole week the raccoons and birds, awesome and of course I fed them quite a bit to sleep on the beach, but the critters ran me off. I loved my time there and will go back next year. If you’re looking to chill, it is the place.

The property itself was amazing; my only complaint is that they don’t have much beachfront area, it’s not safe to swim or go into the ocean because there are so many rocks in the area… but the pools were excellent and they have several of them.

Disappointing Experience – Beware of Timeshare Pressure Our stay at the Royal Haciendas All-Inclusive Resort was unfortunately overshadowed by a very pushy and unhelpful concierge. From the moment we checked in, it felt like the main priority wasn't our comfort or experience, but rather getting us to attend a timeshare sales pitch. The concierge repeatedly pressured us to join a “brief informational breakfast,” which we quickly realized was just a ploy to rope us into a lengthy and aggressive timeshare presentation. When we politely declined, the tone shifted—suddenly it felt like we were being ignored or given the bare minimum help. Requests for local recommendations or help with bookings were met with vague answers or rerouted to other staff. It’s a shame, because the property itself is beautiful and had the potential for a relaxing vacation, but the constant pressure and lack of genuine hospitality really soured the experience. We came here to unwind, not to be sold something we didn’t want. I wouldn’t recommend this resort unless you’re ready to deal with high-pressure sales tactics and lackluster service from those who are supposed to help you make the most of your trip. The resort is huge and nothing is convenient. I went with my friend and her kids. We could not get rooms close to one another, as management stated that it’s a time share hotel and most rooms are reserved for that reason even though half the resort was empty. We felt uncomfortable as I was asked multiple times by the green polo wearing sales reps where my husband was or if I was single. There was not much options of dining, the breakfast buffet was ok, overall food was mediocre. The rooms were dated, there was a horrible musty, moldy old smell. The bathroom ceiling looked like it had mold, it was black. The vents were blowing a musty smell as well. The cleaning crew only fixed the beds, no mopping of the floors or actually cleaning of the bathroom was done. We could not go in the water at the beach due to the erosion, beach had too much rocks and the sand was dirty. The only good thing was the service by the pool. Our server by the pool was Carlos and he was great, friendly, kind and fast. All the other resort workers (besides the sales reps, green and blue polo wearing reps) were great and friendly.

Property was very family friendly. Beach had sustained the same damage as other resorts in the area, and lots of vegetation washing up. Older resort, but well kept with very large one bedroom (king) rooms. The Murphy beds were great for the kids. Breakfast and dinner was great, but reduced seating for lunch. 4th time in Mexico, and we would come back to the Royal Haciendas.

This place is a Joke, safe your Money.... On the good side, the 2 sit down restaurants and that spa were top shelf. But that is where it ends. 1. There was no beach at all, it was washed away a couple of years ago without replacement and that area smelled like rotten fish. 2. There is no vibe, no music at the pool, no night life... 3. The room had 2 small beds that had to be pushed together with no option to upgrade. 4. There is really only 1 bar with 2 bar tenders in the evening. Long waits for drinks. 5 No drinks before 11:00am.... 6 The bell man would not leave the room until we signed up for the timeshare. 7 The timeshare presentation was very high pressure and at the end they wanted us to slap down $64,000 USD. 8. The timeshare contract is full of vague terms in quotes, of which when I asked what it was referring to, it was noted it was another piece of paper that was "not to worry about". 9 The buffet is small with marginal food that had nats flying all over them. This place is a Joke, safe your Money....

Really enjoyed our stay as a family of 4. Very clean, staff super friendly and accommodating Room was spacious and comfortable. Pools and beach were great and food was excellent. Overall excellent trip

It is an excellent property for families, and the staff is courteous and helpful. The food is good, but the menus are somewhat limited. This is not a deal breaker, but it is something to be aware of. The beaches in the area have been eroded by the hurricanes, but property management is working with the government to address the issues soon. Overall, it is a great property to relax and enjoy your time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Hats off to Oscar at the buffet restaurant, who goes above and beyond to make his customers happy. I highly recommend you ask for him if you visit the property.
