Stayed here for a week and loved it! The buffet is great, and the restaurants are amazing!!!! I went to the gym everyday, and it's a gym! The pools & bars are great too. Lines at the bar can sometimes be a little long and they could use a 2nd bartender to jump in during those times. But, it wasn't too bad. Our room was really great too. A BIG shout out to Antonio, one of the entertainment staff! He was so wonderful and would stop every to chat with us! And, another big shout out to Aure, one of the waitress at the buffet. She was sweet and attentive and would have our drinks for us before we even asked! This is my 2nd time to this resort, and I'd go again!

Bahia Principe Grand Coba: A solid choice for a relaxing vacation, Feb 16-23, 2025. Busy, yet never felt overcrowded. Good mix of families, couples, and singles. Even with the start of spring break bringing in some college students, everyone was well-behaved, and the staff handled them with professionalism and respect. Staff were exceptional, particularly Manuel our breakfast server, who made mornings delightful and was incredibly helpful with our dietary needs. Food was generally good, though the buffet became repetitive towards the week's end, as expected. Major issue: buffet labeling was consistently inaccurate, a significant concern for my wife with severe nut/shellfish allergies. Accurate labeling is crucial for all guests, especially those with allergies. Only 3 a la carte meals felt restrictive. Cleaning staff were amazing, going above and beyond with a champagne gift. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful. The pool areas were clean and inviting. Atmosphere was welcoming and inclusive. The hotel is a little older and it is starting to show that in the rooms but we were happy with our room. Despite labeling issues, we had a wonderful time and plan to return. Just to add: Watching the 4 Nations Cup final at the sports bar was an unforgettable experience. Sitting with a couple hundred other Canadians, all cheering together, made the atmosphere electric. It was a moment of pure pride and unity, very proud Canadian moment.

Do not stay here. This place is run down, outdated, room smell like mold. Even after we were transferred to anither room, that one smelled horrible too. No upgrades offered, sfsff was rude when we asked to PAY for lidging at anothwr location.
