This property is amazing and you should definitely experience it! Only downside is that every single thing is paid. They have made it so that you can’t experience ever unless you book 3 days in any case so your research and be prepared to pay extra fees for all experiences

I foolishly thought that the price point of this resort would guarantee a luxurious experience (or at least a bathrobe and some slippers!) but I was sorely mistaken. Unless you enjoy lighting your money on fire for fun, you will regret staying here. Our ocean-view room that we paid extra for was our first disappointment, since it was primarily a grounds-view room with the ocean largely obscured by the chapel. Our 2nd was a ham, egg & cheese croissant sandwich at the cafe that cost $21 that was indistinguishable from the kind you get at dunkin donuts. We only tried one restaurant, Olivine, which slathered all the food in butter and cheese because obviously the $350 we spent on two apps/mains is not for the quality of the food, it's for how unpleasantly full it makes you. I thought the resort being beachfront was a plus, until I realized it's shared with multiple other properties so it's swarmed and you have to pay $75 to get a chair and umbrella for just half a day. You know what else is $75? Overnight parking. They used to have self park but got rid of it so they can squeeze more money out of their guests. It's actually cheaper to just rent a fresh car every day from their (also overpriced, obviously) onsite car rental than it is to keep it for multiple days, or even to rent a car at the airport, park it on the street somewhere else, and uber to it every day. I will not only never stay here again, I will never stay at a waldorf astoria ever again anywhere else in the world.

Rooms need more amenities like beach bag, slippers etc for this price point. Food options are very limited. If you stay more than three days , you better have a car. But car cost you a fortune to park.

A large hotel that works on volume and misses that personal experience. Get used to lining up for checkin, valet, food and whatever other service needed. Four seasons next door more exclusive and has that personal touch. For value they missed the boat for me.

amazing location facing the beach. Fun Pools that kids can’t not get out of. Only thing is it gets a bit crowded. Make sure to take your beach chairs spot early in the morning!
