Breakfasts delicious. However we had to ask to change the room because the bed was uncomfortable the first night. They changed and it was good. However this should no have happened.

Location location location!!!! Shopping near by, pick up for tours nearby. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. We appreciated having arrived hours before check in time that the staff upon request readied our room by noon which we were so thankful for because we were exhausted from our long day of travel!

Altis Avenida Hotel was in the heart of the city. I was able to walk to a plethora of restaurants and other sightseeing activities. I also did all of my souvenir shopping diwn the street. Even the grocery store is less than a 5 minute walk. And the staff is exceptional. From the moment we stepped foot in the hotel, they welcomed us with warm greetings. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Breakfast on the rooftop every morning was an added touch of romance for my holiday with my sweetheart.
