Terrible Hotel, Not Soundproof Rooms

This was one of the worst stays I have had in a hotel. The TV channels didn’t work, the shower was terrible with no power and the rooms cleanliness was very questionable. It also says the rooms are sound proof, which they 100% are not. My room was unfortunately next to reception and the front door. I could here every word that was said in reception and the front door banging until 1am and then around 6am when people were leaving, which needed up with me having very little sleep!!

Easy Hotel South Kensington is my go-to hotel when I am in London - I have probably stayed there 3-4 months total in the past few years. The staff are great and strive to accommodate your requests if possible. It is a very short 5-10 minute walk to Earl's Court Underground Tube station where you can take the District or Piccadilly lines - which is especially convenient for coming or going to Heathrow Airport as well as Central London. To be honest the rooms are fairly small - however the beds are comfortable - and the price is usually among the best in London - don't expect luxury -= however except for sleeping I am seldom in my room when in London so that is not an issue for me. There is a large grocery store as nearby and at least three self service laundromats nearby (most of which have a service to do you laundry and pick it up later if you are short on time).

The shower had no hot water, didn't enjoy having cold showers every day. The property also doesn't have a lift, so be mindful of that if you have heavy luggage. Other than that, it was what I expected to be, and the air conditioning kept the room a pleasant temperature.

We were told the room had AC. It was supposed to be set at 60 degrees Fahrenheit and the room was well over 80 degrees. The bed and sheets were stained. The shower drain was broken. The bathroom was also dirty. The space was significantly smaller than advertised. The food options near here was nonexistent and it was a 10-12 minute walk to any transportation. The showers were so touchy that even a small tap took the water from ice cold to burning me. They were also too small to turn around in or move without hitting the faucet. Staff didn’t speak any English or very limited. They were unhelpful when we needed assistance.

Our bathroom door was completely broken, took both me and my friend all our strength just to open it and would often get stuck. Plugs on the wall didn’t work so couldn’t charge our phones, Would’ve been better staying in a cardboard box.

Clean comfy room. WiFi worked and it was quiet. Not close to The Hyde park area for BST gigs but easy enough to get there on public transport or with taxi. Friendly helpful staff. Had no issues at all. Close to lots of amenities. Would definitely use again

Awful, just don't

The only thing good about this was the location, it was dirty, terrible sulphur smell from the sink and and taps, the shower curtain smelt mouldy, the bathroom and sleeping area needing a good clean, horrified after first night as bottom sheet moved as there was what looked like blood stains on the matress protector. There were no towels, had to find someone in the basement of the property, who was less than friendly, and sighed whe i asked for towels! It was also like a sweatbox, when we got to the room the door was wedged open and a fan was on the floor of the doorway in an attempt to cool a room woth zero ventilation, we kept the shower room light on so the fan in the ceiling may give some airflow
