No Air Con. Avoid

The layout and size of the rooms were good, as was the location of the apartments. Free parking nearby too. But (and this is a very large but) - there's no air conditioning in the Paraiso del Sol Apartments! And there are a limited number of fans if you are lucky enough to get one at all. Truth be told, I assumed most buildings in a sub tropical place like Tenerife would have air conditioning, just like most buildings in Ireland have a heating system. But not the Paraiso del Sol. In fact they scarcely even have fans! At least not the night we arrived when the apartment was like a furnace given that it was an unseasonably hot October. Could hardly sleep the first night, and I don't go on holidays to live in discomfort. Had to ask twice to get their one last (and rather inadequate) fan the second night. Which makes me question how this place is a 3.5 star. At least according to hotels.com its a 3.5 star. Also, I haven't paid for wireless anywhere in about 10 years. Until I stayed here! And, I don't really care about a frill like a hair dryer but again, I thought a 3.5 star would usually provide one.

Le rapport qualité prix acceptable par contre plusieurs défauts: Le soir il fait froid et l’appartement n’est pas adapté. Le matin, le soleil transperce la porte donc sa réveille. En 5 jours de séjour, la femme de ménage est venue qu’une fois et le ménage était médiocre.

Un calor horrible en la habitación, la cual no tenía ni ventilador, si querías uno tenías que pagar un alquiler por días. Lozas del suelo sueltas y rotas, las camas con ruedas sin freno, lo que implica que cada vez que te novias la cama se desplazaba y hacia muchisimo ruido. Las almohadas eran super finas y duras, salí con un dolor de cuello horrible. El baño olía muy mal, el mal olor salía de la bañera. La nevera y el congelador no cerraban bien, lo cual hizo que se mojara todo el suelo. En resumen una experiencia bastante nefasta en comparación con los demás alojamientos en los que he estado.

Great value for money and superb location for Siam park, restaurants, beaches etc. Any issues we had were dealt with promptly and with minimum fuss from staff. It’s fairly basic but that’s why it’s so cheap! Only negatives I would really say about the apartments were the beds and pillows weren’t the best and it would’ve been handy to have had a microwave. Overall though at the price (roughly £60 a night for a 2 bed) we would definitely recommend.

Good quality compared to price. Friendly staff. I didn't like the concrete yard in front of our balcony. With small children it was quite difficult. Breakfast was ok but dinner was not so good.

Appartement wordt 5keer per week schoongemaakt maar je moet niet onder de bank kijken. Meubilair is ouderwets maar goede bedden en reëel, voor het geld kan je niks luxe verwachten. We hadden klachten over de bovenburen nadat zij met sigaretten gaten in onze hamamdoeken hadden gemaakt maar nooit enige respons, ook niet na 4keer na de receptie te zijn gegaan. Zwembad is prima en locatie erg goed t.o.v. boulevard en strand. Voor ons de enige keer, volgende keren zonder bovenburen wegens de gehorigheid en met airco want 's nachts zeer warm.

Op loopafstand van het strand, de winkels, supermarkten, Siam mall en de horeca maar toch in een rustig deel. Eenvoudig maar ruim appartement met groot balkon en van alle gemakken voorzien hoewel wat gedateerd. Geen airco dus dat is voor de zomermaanden wel een manco voor ons nu niet. Wij hebben hier een heerlijk week zomer in de winter gehad!

séjour de 10 jrs fin mars avec hébergement à la playa de las americas pour être assuré d'avoir beau et face à LA GOMERA. Visite d'une partie de l'île : le village de MASCA, les Falaises de LOS GIGANTES, EL DRAGO à ICOD DE LOS VINOS puis GARACHICO et ses bassins d'eau de mer, SANTA CRUZ DE TENNERIFE découverte en bus touristique, pour prolonger sur le village de pêcheurs de SAN ANDRES puis de la PLAYA DE LAS TERESITAS, EL PARQUE NACIONAL DEL TEIDE la montée au PIC del TEIDE en téléphérique et la randonnée du sentier n°3 ROQUES DE GARCIA sur journée très ensoleillée pour bénéficier d'une vue exceptionnelle, les plages avec PALM MAR et le FARO de RASCA, LA PLAYA DEL MEDANO et enfin la visite des PYRAMIDES DE GUIMAR. La partie NORD/OUEST de l'île est très nuageuse à cette période de l'année.

Pleasantly suprised. great apartment for the price

We didn't use the apartment's amenities such as the pool/restaurant/bar but they seemed popular. Our rooms were, large and clean but pretty tired. No issue for us who used the apartment for sleeping and getting ready but little else. We were actually pleasantly surprised based on the price we paid. Good location close to the Palm Beach and eating and drinking areas.

Vi bestilte 2 lejligheder d.24-6-2015 og så udsendelsen "KONTANTEN" i tv i december 2015 hvor jeres selskab blev dårligt omtalt at mange, men vi var yderst tilfredse med det vi havde bedt om, nemlig "HAVUDSIGT og MORGENSOL", men vi blev på alle måder overrasket og glade for den fine behandling vi fik på "PARAISO DEL SOL" i alle 3 uger.

Tråkig service. Besviken på responsen, då jag ringt ner x 2 och önskat ett-två alternativa rum 2 mån före. Fick sämsta rummet nere vid barancon - ingen sol, ingen utsikt. Fick byta dagen efter. Kvinnl receptionisten förnekade att jag ringt - menjag talade just med henne i telefon(träffade henne i april)!!! Tråkigt med lögner.

Piuttosto strani! Siamo arivvati verso le 19 , e alla reception ci hanno detto che dobbiamo per una sera dormire da un altra parte, senza troppe spiegazione ci hanno fatto una cartina per cercare da soli il posto con delle spiegazioni molto vaghe , il secondo giorno ci dicano che ci offrono la colazione per una settimana ci danno delle braccialetti , la seguente mattina si fa la colazione , e li diciamo se si può lasciare braccialetti la , ci dicano di si è la mattina seguente la stessa persona che ci aveva datto questi famosi braccialetti ci ha ripensato dicendoci che non c'è la danno più !!! Molto strani
