Overnight stay in London to go to the O2, for the price it was perfect, it had 2 beds, a tv and a sink. Didn’t even get a chance to use the tv as was out or asleep.

I booked this hotel after being seduced by the photos on Expedia — you know, those dreamy shots of a clean, spacious room with soft lighting and minimalist charm. Fast forward to real life: I walked into what felt like a crime scene sponsored by mildew and disappointment. Let’s break it down: - Clean and spacious? Try dusty and cramped. I’ve seen storage lockers with better square footage and fewer health hazards. - That nice headboard area in the photo? In reality, featured mysterious stains and moldy splotches mere inches from where your face is supposed to rest. Cozy! - The shower? Looked like it had been through a natural disaster and was still recovering. - The carpets? So wrinkled and warped I nearly tripped and time-traveled. - And the cherry on top? Our window opened up to a construction site, complete with friendly workers who could probably tell you what color your pajamas are. It gets better. The receptionist told us our room was "just one floor up". What he really meant was three narrow, steep, elevator-less flights of stairs. With suitcases. By the time we reached the room, we were halfway to Everest Base Camp. We lasted less than 5 minutes before heading back to reception, politely asking for a refund. The receptionist looked at us like we were the problem and claimed, "No one has ever complained before." Spoiler: We checked Google reviews — oh, people have definitely complained. A lot. About the same things.

Basic hotel but we only needed a bed for the night. Room was small but we didn't have luggage so not an issue, and the room itself was clean. Walls are thin, but it wasn't noisy during the night and our sleep was fine. Friendly welcome from the staff member on reception, and we would stay again given the price and location.

Location is wonderful, lots of great restaurants and easy transportation. Area in and around completely safe. But the physical hotel is the downside. Our windows didn’t close correctly, loud off the street, no air conditioning, no daily room maintenance, the shared shower and toilet rooms are unsanitary. During our stay the toilet seat broke and no one fixed it. Expect Dutch stairs which are very narrow and easy to fall. There is no lift available at property.

Brilliant stay

The hotel let us check on early. The people were polite and helpful, the room was clean. I normally get a bad back when I am in a different bed than my own but this bed was really comfortable and there was no noise so I slept incredibly well. Will book again when i return to London

You get what you pay for. Had basic amenities but only had one lumpy pillow each and one small table fan to cool us. Plusses were It’s in a very convenient location and easy to get to. It was what you’d expect for a budget hotel.

Welcome to Hotel Purgatory. The pictures promised clean, modern rooms. What we got was a lukewarm time capsule of broken dreams. The bed? One half felt like concrete, the other like soggy cotton wool. I spent the night clinging to the edge, trying not to roll into the abyss. At 5'10", my feet dangled off the end – ideal for those who enjoy partial circulation. Sleep? Forget it. The London Underground might as well run through the wardrobe – the room shook and hummed like a possessed fridge every time a train passed. Temperature? Approaching the surface of the sun. The standalone AC (see photo) made more noise than wind, and less wind than a bored hamster with asthma. And then, the pièce de résistance: the bathroom. “Suite” is generous. This was less spa, more condemned cell. I’ve showered in jungle huts, mountain lodges, and roadside motels – this was worse. Dirt, mould, and despair, all in one tiled box (photos attached, bring eye bleach). Comfort: 0/10 Cleanliness: 0/10 Noise Levels: 0/10 Recommend to a friend? Not if I like them. Recommend to an enemy? Absolutely. Avoid unless you’re collecting trauma for a memoir.

Not really happy with this hotel receptionist was not very welcoming even called him and didn’t even say name of hotel. Bed was very uncomfortable couldn’t turn light off in hallway water speed was really fast.
