We were very surprised of how dated and old our room was. Holes in the base of the sink in the bedroom, hair on bath towels and comforter, my husband also slipped in the bathtub due to no slip grips in tub. Rusted exterior doors. This property can stand a complete remodeling with new everything, including towels and bed linens. Since our stay was short, we managed through, however we will not be making future reservations until they remodel. Very uncomfortable stay, unfortunately.

What would’ve made it better is if they still offered transportation to Universal Studios. I’ve stayed here before, and they used to offer it. Additionally, the air conditioner didn’t work the first day, but they quickly resolved it before I got back to the room. The phone to call the front desk needs to be replaced. It makes the room look unkempt with its missing buttons and dusty appearance. Other than that, I’m loving the remodeling they’ve done since the last time I stayed. The construction they’re doing right now can be a bit noisy, but it doesn’t start until mid morning. After the changes they’ve made, I’d say it’s well worth it. My partner was particularly disheartened by the removal of the hot tub. I would have to agree that it’s a necessary amenity after a day at the parks. Here’s to hoping they bring it back. If they are looking to add amenities, I would love a handheld shower head. It’s challenging to only have the standard shower head when traveling with kids.

The first room we received (622) did now have working shower. This particular day my family and I went to a water park and decided to check in after we left the WP. Fast forward to entering room, it smelled bad, hole in the wall from door handle, shower didn’t work, it trickled down the faucet. Huge inconvenience to switch rooms.

1 bedroom rooms great for families. Fantastic breakfast. Updated rooms that are basic but clean and with updated tvs. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel clean. Kids absolutely LOVED the splash pad and pool wi to waterfall feature. There is a resort and parking fee- but we knew about both of these things going into it. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
