Room was functional, which is all we wanted. No frills. Had Shampoo and body wash. Thin towels and bedding. Tea and coffee facilities too. It was well located for what we needed it for at a better price than most central London hotels.

The air conditioning, or whatever the big box under my window was wasn’t really working. All It did was letting all the noise from the outside into the room. The door has about an inch gap underneath. So sleep in the morning was impossible with all the noise going on. Bed and pillows very pretty comfortable on the other hand. Hope the reconstruction will cover the rooms in the future too.

Booked a double and got a single as I was travelling alone. The room was tiny, cold and unwelcoming. No storage, small TV with some of the channels not working. 1 pillow and uncomfortable bed. Given the price of the room, I would have expected better.

Stayed a few times and always good value for money due to location. It's a big hotel with lots of different sizes and types of rooms. OK hotel for a solo traveller and single night. Things I like that hotel had opening windows and AC. Nice to be able to have choice to open window rather than really on the mech ventilation.

Room was extremely dated, receptionist was quite rude. No air con in room which got so hot I was sweating so had to open window which ment a lot of noise through out the night, directions from lift/stairs to room was extremely bad that I got lost first time trying to find room. For such a busy central London hotel the lifts where less than adequate, with one not working at all. There was also work being done in hotel which we wasn’t warned about until after check in and we saw the posters and note in room saying such.
