"The location is excellent in the middle of several fells. Good hiking trails and scenic walking trails (and cross-country skiing tracks in winter) start from the hotel. The restaurant of the hotel is one of the best in Lapland. The breakfast buffet is excellent, too. It also includes local specialties, e.g. spruce shoot fruitie, lingonberry vanilla smoothie and cloudberry jam. The log building is historical (built in 1948) but unfortunately the rooms need renovation. They are quite cozy but many small details are worn out. Sleep quality was excellent. I didn't hear any noise except the sound of water in the pipes. My bathroom was very small. This hotel is excellent if you are searching for a down-to-earth wilderness hotel but don't expect any luxury accommodation."

"Majoitus oli meille mieluinen. Sauna ja parveke kruunasi vapun viettomme. Sängyt olivat todella hyvät. Siisti ja toimiva huone, vaikka pinnat hieman kuluneet. Se ei toki meitä haitannut. Hullu Poron aamiainen oli monipuolinen ja maittava. Hieman olisi toivonut osalta aamupalan henkilökunnalta lämpimämpää vastaanottoa. Ihan vaikka huomenen toivotuksen☀️"
