Reliable Comfort with a Few Room for Improvements

Radisson Blu is always our top choice for family vacations. The service is consistently excellent, with great locations, comfortable beds, and generous room sizes. This time, the room felt a bit smaller than usual, but the location more than made up for it—right next to Planten un Blomen Park, with easy access to public transport and the beautiful fountain show just a short walk away. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a solid buffet and an à la carte menu with tasty options. The in-room comfort was great overall, though we did notice some noise from housekeeping in the corridor. One suggestion: adding a blackout blind in the bathroom could help avoid disturbing others in the room during nighttime use. That’s a beautiful moment to capture in a review, Osama—it really shows the human side of hospitality. Here’s a refined version under 250 characters that keeps the warmth and sincerity: Staff were exceptional—particularly Muhammad Khan went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even helping us calm our toddler during checkout. Thoughtful, kind, and always smiling. Truly impressive care throughout our stay.

Great stay

The rooms are great. View is great. Many good places to dine nearby. Train station right by the hotel. If possible take train to Hamburg. If by car, park the car by the hotel and take public transportation around the city. The breakfast buffet is a must have. It is superb.

1. The hot and cold water tap in the bathroom sink was configured wrong. They were opposite (Room 1124). 2. The bathtub drain was defect and I needed to hold in a button manually until all water was drained. 3. The doors connecting our two rooms had to be opened by a staff member. If the kids accidentally closed both doors, we would have to call room service again. Perhaps we should have the key? 4. Perhaps the person on the toilet should have control over the window blinds into the bathroom, not the people or kids outside… Besides that there were friendly staff, tasty food and comfortable beds 🙂

Dissapointed guests.

When I booked I booked for 2 adults and one child of 8 years of age. I expected a room with 2 beds and one standard bed. I was more than surprised to learn that the extrabed would be charged 50€ extra per night. WE had an alternativ to let the boy slip with us in the double bed. This is outrageous that we did not get this information while booking as we would have chosen an other hotel. Or to think that a 8 years old boy would share the bed with 2 adults.

Beautiful view from my room on the top floor. The room had everything I needed and was quiet and comfortable. The fitness center was clean and also had a nice view of the area! It was very easy to access public transportation. The area around the hotel was nice to walk with a park and lots of restaurants.
