Overall excellent!

Friendly greeting on arrival. Room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Complimentary drinks in mini fridge an unexpected bonus as was the tea and coffee in reception. Breakfast was well stocked with continental and cooked breakfast items. Beds were extremely comfortable.

Things I didn't like: Bathroom had a fowl smell on and off, had to use odor spray quite often. Housekeeping is only on request and even after I requested for my room to be cleaned (I travelled to a family's place for 3 days) and still didn't get done, my room was not cleaned. Things I liked: Right in middle of great sights seeing, downtown, very accessible to transportation.

The hotel is conveniently located just next to the Schlaegerstrasse subway stop, some 5-7 minutes travel to Kroepcke and Central Station, 10 minutes walk to Sprengel museum and Landesmuseum. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, bathroom is good and clean. The only minor issue may be lights - not one chandelier, but zones, but it really is a matter of taste.
