It’s not the same hotel it use to be. Maybe location or just the price is better than some of the new hotels. My room 204, had mold in the toilet and a lot of what appeared to be construction dust on the floor near the shower/tub. The lamp on the left side of the bed also had what appeared to be mold growing on it. It was late and I was tired so I just went to sleep. The bed was comfortable and I passed out until about 1:30am when I was awoken by a toddler screaming and running up and down the hall for 30 minutes. I could hear the mother yelling at it to stop, it did, I felt relief for 5 minutes until it started up again. About 2:00am I relieved it had finally settle down just to hear the neighboring room start watching tv and talking loudly. Thankfully my phone has a white noise player I was able to use to help drown the noise. I awoke at 5:30am to leave, that neighboring room was still up talking loudly and watching tv…. Must be a night owl, or something else… probably not the same person in the parking lot hot boxing their car, I’m sure that person went to their room and chilled out. Anyways, won’t stay at this location anymore, which is too bad, it was convenient to the race track.

Checked out 1st morning at checkout time due to family emergency and was told that we would be charged for the second night regardless. We weren’t even reimbursed the pet fee for the second night. This is unconscionable and just a money grab. Won’t stay at LaQuinta again.

The shower keep running water all my visit even though i mentioned it to the front desk only to be told that there was no maintenance people on staff on weekends. Room was nice. Lacked vending machines. Every thing needed to be purchased at the front desk. Breakfast was good. A varied selection of waffles, biscuits and gravy, an egg and meat selection, assorted bakery items, hard boiled eggs, yoguart and cereal.
