After the quick & easy check-in procedure, the rest of our time at the "Novotel Suites" was shambolic! After we parked our car in the underground carpark, we unloaded our bags, and then tried to squeeze passed all the unattended laundry trolleys in the walkway near the basement elevators. Then, when one of the hotel's 2 elevators had finally arrived, we had to squeeze into it along with a hotel staff member and their laundry trolley. We arrived onto our floor and then began weaving our way along the, you guessed it, unattended laundry trolley laden corridor to our room. Finally we arrived into our room and discovered that the fish-eye lens used for the hotel’s room photos must have been of high quality, because our room prepared for 3 adults was TINY! And the so-called "kitchenette”, consisted of a small microwave oven (just big enough to warm up something the size of a grapefruit), a tiny sink that was too small to fill the provided leaking kettle safely, and 3 cups—that's it—no spoons, coffee or tea. Oh, I forgot—there was one 300ml bottle of water in the bar fridge for the 3 of us. For our 5 overpriced €185p/night stay, we battled: through laundry trolley laden corridors; for the elevators; with the over-crowded foyer; and trying to sleep on the incredibly uncomfortable beds and pillows. The only positives to warrant the 2-Star rating was the check-in process and the fact the roof didn’t leak. I can only recommend this hotel to those who like to be inconvenienced.

Nice, clean and tidy hotel. Friendly staff, great location for getting around. Breakfast was good. Nice to have a fridge and microwave in room, but a little pointless as there were no bowls or plates or cutlery to go with it. Also no teabags.

The location was great. Very easy connection to buses and trains. Walkable to check Point Charlie. Plus scooter and bike app hire right outside the door. Best Vietnamese restaurant 10 min walk called Go Mumma also a large supermarket 5 min walk Great large room for 4 people. Breakfast was great, but very busy. Overall the family had a good 2 night stay

Pros: Prime location, good rooms and decent breakfast. LIDL next door, and multiple resturants near by. SBahn is just there as you come out of property. Only takes about 20-25 to the airport and 10 minutes to Berlin Main. Staff were frieendly. Cons: wait time for elevators is crazy. Room was very hot, Air Conditioning was almost non existent.

Trip with friends to visit Berlin. Hotel location was convenient, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was good value. Only negative is that the air conditioning has limited controls and wouldn't come on until the room temperature was above 22 degrees which is warmer than I like for sleeping.
