This is a well run functional hotel. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming. It is clean and with a focus on eco recycling etc. The rooms are compact and somewhat Spartan. The major challenge is car parking, which can be difficult.

Breakfast finishing at 9:30 on a Sunday??! Ridiculous. Bedroom cold easily have accommodated a King size bed - why only a Queen size bed?Expensive stay too for what it was. Building clean and location though good for campus. Good parking too.

I was reassured last time I stayed that Hotels.com VIP benefits would be provided and that the mistakes during my last stay related to poor training. However during this stay, the hotel applied the same exclusions on the 20% discount voucher and did not upgrade me despite my platinum status and ample room availability. In my experience, other Hotels.com hotels honour their deals & provide services consistent with their advertising. On querying twice, I was told that Expedia customers keep getting it wrong

Rip off

We are platinum members & this hotel was advertised as giving hotels.com benefits. We were treated poorly on arrival when we asked for our food & drinks voucher. Further when the voucher didn’t match the advertised benefit we were told we were wrong. Same happened the next day. Eventually the more detailed wording was checked & money was refunded to us. Tried to get a coffee but the bar was shut. We were told to get a coffee in the restaurant but restaurant staff said we have to pay £14.95 for each coffee as they could only sell coffee with breakfast Not like other hotels.com properties Whole thing felt like a rip off
