Great stay pre flight

Very clean comfortable room, bar/restaurant on level 14 was great for a wind down and some nice food before bed. I particularly enjoyed the shower which had great pressure and nice toiletries. There was a fire alarm which turned out to be a false alarm however staff dealt with it calmly and professionally.

Based on the cost of these rooms, 2 king beds on an upper floor, over $1100 US, I would expect the breakfast to be more and everything in the room to be top notch. The breakfast needs to be more than scrambled eggs and premade pressed and form hash brown potatoes. Coffee was great, glad there was oat milk. Regarding the room, the coffee pot didn’t work…had to replace the first night. Also, only one usb port worked and the shower head desperately needed deliming.

Great between-flights-hotel

The Hilton Garden Inn (HGI) is located adjacent to Terminal 2 at Heathrow. If you need to travel from/to Terminal 3, do not attempt to walk on the streets/sidewalks as there are some tricky street crossings. There is an underground passageway between Terminals 2 & 3. This is the same passageway you would take for the train stations. The HGI is a fine hotel for an overnight stay between flights. The room is spacious by London standards with all the expected amenities. The staff is friendly and very helpful. There is a market in Terminal 2 (accessed through the parking structure) for late eating if you prefer. Unfortunately, jogging or running on the streets outside the HGI is nearly impossible - mostly no sidewalks. Your best option is to run laps in the attached parking structure between the HGI and Terminal 2.

Great Experience!

Very convenient location if you are flying in or out of Heathrow Terminal 2 or 3. Rooms are quiet, clean and very comfortable. Easy walk to the terminals.
