The staff that checked us in was very rude. We booked a family room but they gave us a standard double room so I pushed back and asked for a family room. They kept saying there is no available family room and I said I booked and paid for a family room so they need to find a solution to accommodate us. Minutes later the staff said he found a room but we'll have to wait another half hour. We arrived in the evening and tired from travelling so I asked if there's a way we could get the room sooner. The staff said "Do you want the room or not?" I was appalled by the demeanour of the staff - he even added "What do you want me to day? I'm sorry?". We've never encountered such a rude person in the hospitality industry!

This was my second stay at this hotel during transit at Heathrow. Negatives: The check in was very slow this time, which is always frustrating after a long flight, and the room was smaller than previously, and I was disappointed not to be able to order room service with the ‘ring through and pick up’ option unclear how and only 1 of the 3-4 dining options had a menu provided. Positives: The room had everything I needed and was comprehensive, quiet and comfy, Breakfast is good, easy and no waiting for anything. Most of all, the staff were good. I had an issue with my suitcase lock and maintenance attended and cut it off for me to allow access to the case. The bar staff were also good, and the food here much better than at the express restaurant. I will more than likely stay here again during my next transit.

It's exceptionally clean at this hotel. The rooms have everything you need and it's comfortable. The reception staff are very welcoming and the breakfast is good. My only issue is dinner. It's very expensive.
