Immaculately clean room. About a 3 minute walk to the bus stop that takes you directly into the terminuses (think it was £1.75 one way). Lovely staff and really quiet place before our early morning flight from Terminal 3. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Once I got into the hotel it was great, but the outside was poorly lit from the street- a huge, anonymous building that I had to walk right round to find the entrance. Don’t do what I did and get there via public transport- but once inside, I got a friendly welcome, a delicious dinner and a comfortable bed. So my story had a happy ending

Elevator was slow. We had to wait a while to accommodate all the guests using it. Only stayed there about 6 hours after being told we could not stay in Terminal 5 to wait for a morning flight.

The original room we were assigned had a bathroom door that did not fit into the door frame therefore it wouldn’t close, and I don’t mean you just had to exert a little pressure, it was a full 2-3 inches out of alignment on the bottom of the door frame. While the Manager did his best to address it by moving us and offering a discount the rest of the staff appeared unconcerned. They were able to move us so fast it made me question why they put us there in the first place. Keeping up with repairs may cost in the short term but has long term impacts.
