Lovely Stay.

Really enjoyed our stay only a couple of nights wish we had longer. Easy Free parking. When we arrived greeted nicely with a complementary drink and they took our bags to the room. Breakfast was loverly. Also had a swim sauna and go in the steam room which is good for my breathing. I also lost something and thought I'd try reception and wow they had it. Also silly things like just how friendly and smart they all were.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was served quickly and efficiently and there was a wide range of buffet options available. The hotel is well maintained and housekeeping did a good job of cleaning the room and bathroom.

Superb hotel

Lovely stay with my mother. Excellent service from the moment we arrived. Greeted with a complimentary drink and the room was lovely and very spacious. The location is great too for restaurants and the beach. Definitely recommend staying here.

I would have given 5 star all the way, however, a water foundation is needed in the spa area. You become dehydrated when using the stream room, and the it just need to be cleaned daily. Aside from that excellent hotel, amazing food, staff and location.

My only comment would be the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. In the unusual heat we have been having. The heat hit you when entering the room as opposed to the other way round. Apart from that I would put the Belgrave Sands Hotel & Spa in the best top 3 Hotels I've stayed at in this country. I would rate it's location food and standard of accommodation and facilities as excellent. Thank for a great stay.

Great little breakfast to set you up for the day, plenty of choice along with a cooked breakfast, various pastries, yoghurts etc. Comfy robes and slippers, huge bed. Staff are very helpful even if they cant always help, i.e, no ear plugs available at reception, as our room was opposite the funfair and theres no air con the window had to be open so they would have been helpful. Special shout out to Chloe for arranging cakes for my partner after i mentioned in passing it was her birthday. Pool, sauna etc not great but are not advertised as luxury so dont go in with high expectations and you'll be fine. Gym was ok. Lots of older clientele due do the hotels excellent access, which was no issue for us. Location was good for getting to Totnes and Cockington and around a 15 minute walk to Torquay centre so pretty good location by the sea front. All in all, for the price point, would recommend as a base to fuel up on brekkie, travel from, then come back to a friendly reception and a comfortable, if slightly warm, room.

The hotel was very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic a great choice available. There could have been more of a choice of beers in the bar.I definitely would recommen a stay in this hotel .We will definitely stay again.
