The hosts were very friendly and helpful with their local knowledge. The guest house is well located for town centre and the beach etc. The breakfasts were excellent and very filling. The rooms were clean and perfectly decorated. All round an excellent stay.

Located on a quiet street within 2 blocks of ocean and loads of shops and cafés. Run by very friendly couple. Excellent breakfast with lots of options.

A lovely stay in Brighton

Where in Brighton for a couple of days to attend a wedding , our hosts were aware of this and created a great atmosphere , we felt very welcome in their home. They went above and beyond after a local spilt a drink over the only shorts I had and they washed and dried for me.

Starlings was a wonderful place to stay in Brighton. It has a very convenient location for walking into the centre of town as well as the seafront. Melina and Julie are wonderful owners who were a great help during my stay and do a great job maintaining the rooms. My room was perfect. Highly recommended.

Kleines und persönliches Hotel mit liebenswerten und hilfsbereiten Gastgeberinnen, die selbst im Haus wohnen. Bad und Zimmer waren immer sauber, die Matratze bequem, die Temperatur im Dachgeschoss angenehm. Das Frühstück kann dazugebucht werden und war immer sehr lecker (klassisch/veggie/vegane Version wählbar). Die Lage ist perfekt, fußläufig erreichbar sind Meer, Parks, Cafés, Pubs, Zentrum, Pavillon, Museum, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etc. Direkt vor der Tür fahren Busse. Zum Haus selbst: Da es 200 Jahre alt ist, sind die Decken etwas niedriger.

The guesthouse is only a few minutes away from the seaside. It's a lovely building, beautifully kept and nicely furnished. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, the place is quiet and comfortable and the breakfast is a treat. Highly recommended!

Fab Stay

Stayed for one night and it was first class. The whole place is spotless and the hosts are very friendly and hospitable. Bedroom was very tasteful and comfortable with an excellent, freshly cooked breakfast. Parking is available on street and is payable at the guest house. 2mins walk to beach. Was a great location for a gig I attended at patterns which is 5mins away. When staying in Brighton again I will be sure to book and would recommend to anyone considering a stay here.

Lovely guest house. Our room was spacious, with a bow window. Bathroom was small but excellent. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts were friendly and kind. The street was noisy Saturday night, so I would recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
