Great Central Location

A good modern centrally located hotel, very comfortable bed and good buffet breakfast. The rooms are quite small but well appointed. The staff are friendly and helpful. Ideal for attending the AO Arena and shopping. The recommended car park is a short walk away and reasonably priced for 24hr parking. To be recommended.

The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful, one of the best experiences in that sense. The room was lovely, one of the comfiest beds but my only complaint is a bit of a strange one, the room was extremely stuffy, bathroom was boiling hot even with heating turned off for 2 days and 2 nights in this hotel left me with the most terrible chest, a persistent cough and irritation of my airways which has lasted all week. I woke up struggling to breathe each morning, and I can only think it is down to the air circulation or lack of? I turned the heating off when I arrived due to the quality of air in the room and opened a window but still did not seem to help. I stay in a lot of hotels and have never experienced it this bad before.

The property itself is very nice and well maintained. I did have a small issue at check-in. I had booked a king size bed and when I got to my room I noticed I had been given a full size bed. I went to reception and they fixed the issue within ten minutes. Their showers are very slippery so I would caution people with mobility issues. Also, while the area is nice and quiet, it does lack late night dining options. Also, the nearest tram station is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The nearest bus stop is about a 5-8 minute walk. You can get to the Piccadilly station in about 20 minutes by walking.
