Don't Book it's closed.

Hotel is closed but still taking bookings & money. Arrived at the hotel to find the reception in darkness & unmanned. I came back 2 hrs later & still no receptionist however a workman appeared & told me that the hotel was closed. I asked for the manager & when he arrived I explained that I had 2 nights booked & paid for, he just told me to contact Hotels .Com for a refund. Thanks for ruining my easter weekend.

Not recommended

It was too much cold in the room, heating was off. Water was dripping from the ceiling and windows. There were hair found in the duvet and tool. Wifi wasn't working. It was absolutely terrible, not recommended.

Awful property, somebody had been in and used the toilet while me and my partner were out and just not even flushed it, one of her items of clothing have gone missing from out of the room also, in a close area to the beach but on the whole the place needs closing down.

I have arrived at the hotel I have booked Expedia travel confirmation - Fri, 9 Feb. - (Itinerary # 7265487521140) The Sherwood Palm Hotel, Torquay BeachBelgrave Rd, 1, Torquay, and the hotel is closed to the public, I have paid for this booking and it has come out of my bank account and I am not able to get into the hotel they have turned me away. I am so angry, I want a refund of my £106.37 and compensation for the mistake you have make, I made this booking in September last year and no one had contacted me to say the hotel would be closed and no refund given and no one to tell me I would need to find another hotel

the room was so bad. the light was hanging off the toilet seat was loss there where holes in the wall window was smashed there was dust on wardrobe. the wardrobe door was hanging off the shelf was broken on the wardrode and bathroom shelf above the skin was hanging down the fire alarm went off at 3am for no reason partner went to see if everything wad ok and the manger was rude to her and said just it a fault in the system just go back bed will never stay here again.
