Tough to give this review as the host Mark was very helpful and courteous, but unfortunately the apartment did not live up to expectations. It looks as though the flooring may have been replaced not too long ago, but a rather DIY job with gaps left along the base of the walls, and the rest of the space needs a fresh coat of paint. Cracks in the bathroom floor, a tub with stains that looks like they’ll never come out, one small couch that’s so worn it feels like you’re sitting on the floor, the whole place just feels quite tired. On the positive side, it’s just a 5 minute walk to the Tube, and the neighbourhood has plenty of small restaurants and a grocery store nearby. I’m sorry to leave just 3 stars but I would have liked to know this before booking.

Very well equipped flat in Fantastic location

Mark was very kind to meet us for check-in and even helped carry our cases upstairs. Flat is very well equipped, and everything works as it should. Very clean too. The location is excellent - a stone's throw from the West Kensington tube and about 5 minutes walk from Barons Court (on the Piccadilly line for direct access to Kings Cross and LHR). Lots of small supermarkets and places to eat / take away nearby. On a nice quiet street. Even if some of the fixtures could be updated, this flat has so many good points we didn't mind. Thank you.

We had to be moved to to mold in the apartment. We had the first night. The second apartment was on the second floor while they were working in the hallway and lower apartment. It was better, but not anywhere near what was expected. Still very musty smelling And I am assuming the mold was removed prior to our arrival.

We had a great stay at Castletown House Apartments. The owner is friendly and accommodating, he assisted us with our luggage, explained how to use the equipment and was available throughout our stay. Our family trip to london

The apartment is very convenient in terms of travel since it is situated very close to the underground and bus stop. There were shops around the block to buy things such as water and food. Mark is also accomodating and allowed us to check in early. Overall a convenient location for our return trip to London.

Mark, manager/coordinator was very helpful and kind to us during our stay there. Also, on the day of our departure he looked after our bags outside the apartment until we picked them in the afternoon. Moreover, he helped us for booking a UBER and loading our bags into the car. Mark was an excellent host and the apartment was a great value. Apartment is sized for two. We were a party of 3. We brought a small 14 year old who slept on roll out bed. When bed was open, the apartment was tight. Liked that apartment was equipped with adapters for US electronics and usB charging in bedroom. Getting to either district subway or Picadilly line was easy. Many groceries and restaurants in near by area. The apartment was a nice way to spend a week in London. Appreciated kitchen and laundry facilities.
