We have been stuck in Washington DC for two days due to the fire in London and our flight was canceled to Heathrow. We could not check in. Unfortunately, there is no point of contact with hotels.com to contact for help so, we lost the ability to cancel and get a refund.

Hairs and crumbs were all over the floor of the room, and the receptionists were not very friendly and did not explain any policies that the hotel holds. We got stuck here due to the Heathrow power closure, and they jacked up the price up to 7x more than what we originally paid for.

I stayed here the night before flying from Heathrow. The room was perfect and had everything I could imagine needing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Booking a taxi to the airport the next morning was easy. I will stay here again when flying from Heathrow if I need to.

Good stay

Early check-in was allowed (2-3pm) at no cost, which was helpful. Thermostat had to be reset downstairs to work properly, but staff was helpful in doing so. No shuttle to airport, but £6-7 bus comes frequent enough to get you to terminals 2,3,5. Restaurant/Sports Bar next door (Holiday Inn) was good. Breakfast (free) was loaded with options, including gluten free items.

We arrived late, hoping to get some rest between flights, but our experience was far from restful. Despite noting that we were traveling with a child, the pull-out couch for our son was not made up. We requested it be prepared while we went out for a quick bite, but when we returned an hour later—exhausted and ready for bed—it was still not done. After asking again, we were told it would take another 20 minutes due to a staff shift change. By the time it was finally set up, it was nearly midnight. Just as we settled in, unsettling noises began coming from the room next door—moaning, wailing, and crying that went on for hours. It was genuinely disturbing. After two hours, unable to endure it any longer, my husband went to the lobby to report the issue. Instead of resolving the situation discreetly, staff called our room at 2:00 a.m. to inform us that our neighbours were “doing their best”—which woke our son! We barely got any sleep and would have been better off staying at the airport and saving the room fee.

The room was so spacious and the entire hotel looked brand new. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. The best breakfast that I ever received in any hotels. Highly recommend if you stay in London.
