This property could be great with a little bit of maintenance. Good price and facilities are adequate. But shower was difficult to operate as the cold tap was broken and the hose was not connected properly so water was sent at 90 degrees. The TV signal was also not able to pick up channel 1 or 2. Breakfast is adequate but again could be better organised. No plates, no glasses and no bread available at 8am. Some thought on the layout of materials would allow guest to get there breakfast with out delay and been on top of one another.

Good night's sleep.

Attended a wedding and wanted somewhere close to the venue and train station. Twin room was clean and had all the essentials and beds were very comfortable with clean good quality linen. Room was perfect for what we needed. It is on a main road so there was traffic noise but the room was not at the front so not a problem..

They forgot to clean the room a couple of times. Otherwise the place is great. Right in town centre, friendly staff and a lovely restaurant in the hotel with big choice of hot food.

Extremely poor, arrived at hotel receptionist was sleeping. I arrived from a flight at 12:30 am and arrived and 3:30 and already informed the hotel of this. To then tell me they are overbooked and cotact another hotel. I contacted hotel.com. Who made me further wait a 45 min to then send me to a hotel which was again further overbooked I had to waste cab fares on this journey fo no reason. At 4:35 am I booked a new hotel which I had to pay £130 for. I am exteremley disappointed and out of pocket and yet to receive a refund or any compensation after being £150 out of pocket due to further cab fares and booking another hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at Alto. You cannot get a better deal at that price. Only this is that the duvet covers had stains on them

Cleanliness was an issue - finding long hairs throughout room made it feel like it hadn’t been vacuumed. I stayed in two rooms - one was missing TV remote, other the Kettle - an odd discrepancy.

An ideal place for guests and travellers

Very brilliant place for travellers. Have absolutely everything you need in a hotel. Great price and good value for money. Heating system is fantastic. Rooms have private refrigerator for your comfort. Check out time is convenient.
