Very good location, staff. Had a windowless room and it was cold, actually very cold, I have had such rooms at Sachas before and been lovely and toasty. The Dimplex rad was totally inadequate.

The amount I paid for justified the experience. The location is very convenient - it is in the High Street/City Centre. The room was spacious and that the toilet also has a bath tub. The TV is humongous- 65 inches I think. All basic necessities are there. On the other hand, the traffic noise outside can be an inconvenience. The good thing is I stayed during Christmas and boxing day so noise intensity is not much of an issue. Check-in was fast. And there is security check after 10PM. I will consider staying here again if I just need a night to crash in.

It was okay, room size were ideal furniture was clean but TV had very few video channels because of old system, they should include Breakfast too we booked 2 rooms and paid £95 per night, normally its cheaper around £40. Hope they add breakfast so all customers will come back here and never go elsewhere Thanks

Apathetic reception staff member set the tone really. Very tired décor in room , aircon didn't work no windows , very hot saved only by a fan left on overnight. Best description overall would be functional. I would not return.

The room was too hot, an electric fan was plugged in and running. The funiture was both dated and damaged. The decor was damaged too. Furniture mismatched. Check in took 40 mins, two staff on the desk.

When got there cos my booking was as in a initial and surname I had to mess about changing it but never had problem before when I had id anyway and reception were very rude and laughing at us when I bar bad anxiety which isn’t very professional plus I as gonna book late check out but expected me to come back down at nearly 11 pm which I wants doing so just left early

I had read bad reviews and I have had past negative experiences with the Britannia hotel chain but was more than happy with my stay, the room and the professional and helpful staff. I had booked a window less budget room. It was basic but had everything I need. It was clear that previous reviews had been considered to improve it. There was a fan provided if room is too hot, and a space heater and extra blankets if too cold. I had been travelling all day so stayed in the one evening I had booked. Shower was hot with good water pressure and towels and shower gel were provided. The coffee making tray was sufficient and I enjoyed both evening and morning coffees when in bed watching TV. I slept great, no window to let street noise in. Hotel was cheap and provided above the standard I expected for what I paid. Only issue was the lack of outlets to charge mobile by the bed. Perfect location for shopping but the Piccadilly Gardens area was as sketchy as ever. Staff was helpful and it was a bonus that I could leave my bags after checking out to pick up later. Don't expect a mansion if you stay at this hotel, but standard good and staff went above and beyond.
