Location is near to Heathrow but does require transportation as it is not walking distance. Room is quiet from road noise but not from hall noise. Staff friendly. Gym is a plus. Some restaurants within walking distance so options beyond the hotel restaurant.

Our only complaint was that the bedding had a musty smell and there was NO top sheet, only a bottom sheet and a comforter with a cover that is unlikely changed daily. I didn't want to fuss about it as I was getting to bed late but my advice upon checking in is to request a top sheet. Otherwise the bed itself would have been comfortable. The hotel in general was great for an overnight stay in the Heathrow area. There's a nice bar and restaurant with a decent dinner menu in both. I would not bother with the breakfast as there are better options for the same price at the airport. The staff are helpful and attentive, and it's close-ish to the airport with the airport shuttle arriving at regular intervals. The shuttle is a bit pricey but that's not surprising, and it takes a bit longer than expected from the relatively short distance from the terminal. We seemed to be the last stop on our way there and the first stop on our way back to the terminal, despite being the closest. It took about 20 mins driving time for a 5 minute route.

Consideration from check in staff would be good

Comfortable room for an overnight pre flight stay Long corridors. I was put in one right at the end with 2 heavy suitcases to manage, I’m in my late 70’s

Nice Hyatt for one night. Great check-in. Forgot my converter so front desk let me borrow one. Nice dinner (salmon dish + friend got the chicken). Both dishes were nice as was the Chardonnay. Be aware the bus from terminal 5 only comes once an hour (25 minutes past the hour) so we ended up taking a taxi from the airport which was £20.

Quirky gem in an excellent location.

Fun, quirky hotel in the heart of Kilkenny. The room was funky, yet comfortable and clean. It had plenty of amenities and a very nice bathroom. The tub even had jets!

We arrived at noon and no king size bed was available so we got a two bed and an extremely small room. I know check-in is supposed to be at 3 but our travel circumstances forced us to an early check in
