The staff were welcoming and professional. My one negative would be the cost of parking, £13.50 is by far the most expensive Ive paid.

Nicely designed room which was comfortable. Pleasant staff and tea/coffee whenever you need it in reception. Good, free wifi. Nice family run Indian restaurant (Kathmandu ___) round the corner. Will happily stay again.

Budget but okay

Check-in and out was nice and easy, staff were friendly. Car park is next to hotel and is closed at night which was great. Room was as advertised and bed very comfy! However, bedsheets had weird pink stains, the floor wasn’t swept as there was dirt everywhere. Not very happy with the fire alarm randomly going off around 7:30am - couldn’t sleep afterwards. Breakfast - did not expect that… It was just pieces of ham, cheese, and yogurt. random cuts of cucumber and tomato? and then your standard pastries and cereal. Only had ate 2 slices of toast… as i thought there would be more breakfast options..

The reception staff who was an Asian male was rude highly unwelcoming. Not sure why. The rooms were too small and the drains were blocked. So you open the tap and water starts to build up. Terribly messy. I know it is supposed to be budget but at least the above two factors made it highly uncomfortable. Even in a one or two star accommodation, i will expect basic facilities and a slightly more welcoming or even a neutral reception. Never again in Ibis or Accor hotels
