Beautiful old building, patient check in lady, comfortable bar restaurant and large rooms. Shower head not tightened enough so had to hand hold but everything was good. Beautiful breakfast and service from the hardworking staff.

Lovely building. Clean room. Friendly staff. Comfortable. Quiet. Well appointed. Speaker was great. Warm. Shower sprayed out onto the floor and the bracket for the shower head needed repair. Well located. Restaurant/ bar looked nice but we didn't use it.

The hotel is excellent, conveniently place for the train station and cannot say enough good words about what a good vibe the hotel has and the staff are just so easy going and helpful which provided a really good experience. I stay in Manchester a lot and never before at this hotel but will put this at the top of my list in future. Loved the old style building and the quirkiness in the rooms, just great. Got for a very good price which helped but still does not detract from the hotel quality whovh was excellent!.

Tidy, convenient etc with posh shampoo, conditioner, hand and body wash. Bottled water in room at cost of £2.50 but would question the price tag. Receptiin staff were excellent.

Room was too warm, the radiators were turned off but the pipes running through gave out the heat. No opening windows, just a fan (good one at that), so a particular room issue imo. No fridge in the room, which I personally would prefer….
