Unfortunately, my stay did not meet expectations. The room was not the same as shown in the photos, which was disappointing. There was no proper heating—only a small electric heater, which was not sufficient. The carpet was dirty and stained, and the room had an unpleasant smell. The window could not be opened properly, making it difficult to get enough fresh air. Additionally, the staircase of the property was under renovation, which affected the overall experience. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and polite, which I appreciated.

Rooms were decent and clean. The beds were cosy though definitely needs an upgrade, the room felt like it was leaning on one side. Only complaint I would have is, all of the rooms I’ve booked were on separate floors. End of the day it was a busy period but booking in advance you would presume it would be close to one another at least. Good price and great location.

There was a strange smell in the lift and in the front reception area and there was loads of loud banging at 2:30am outside our room and above our room other than that it was a very nice stay would likely go back again but request a room on the higher floor so no banging above our room

Incredibly tired and worn out. The stairs were both wonky and moved under foot. Needs a complete refurb. Will make sure I book earlier and get somewhere else next time as by far the worst value for money I've had in Manchester unfortunately. The staff I spoke to were lovely.

Clean but could do with a revamp. My room was at the back overlooking a pub which was a little noisy at times. Staff were friendly, although the price seemed steep for the quality of the room however it's still a budget option for the area. Booking breakfast on site is cheaper than booking via hotels.com
