Two night stay to be near to NEC

Bed was very comfortable except that we had a disability room and the bed was pushed up against the wall making it awkward for one person to get in. Bathroom however was brilliant with walk in shower, seat, grab rails and emergency cords. Food in bar was poor and expensive. Breakfast was good but expensive at 18 pound per person, nice choice but nothing out of the ordinary. A little bit disappointed as i had expected more from a Hilton hotel. Close to NEC and free shuttle bus was a bonus. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

This hotel genuinely had some if the friendliest staff I've ever come across in a hotel. The chap on the desk at breakfast was an absolute gem, as were the waiting staff. They were helpful, attentive, kind, and smiley. Our room was pretty standard. But comfortable, clean, and had very comfy beds. A huge elevision was an extra bonus. Good toiletries, and big, fluffy towels were also lovely. The swimming pool and gym area were clean and of an excellent standard. Again, with extremely helpful staff. The 1 downside to this fabulous hitel is the SIXTEEN POUNDS A DAY car parking charge. It's utterly abhorrent that after paying to stay the night in the hotel, you get charged to park your car on top. Charge the day guests, or conference attendees, but not the good people that have already paid to use your establishment.

Nice position for NEC , but overly expensive for drinks and food is of poor quality for the money , our food took 40 minutes to arrive while everyone else got there’s in 10 minutes and the burger just looked and tasted cheap,2 out of the 4 in our group had bad stomaches , our room had no channels on tv and air conditioning was poor.

We arrived just after check in time which was busy but got through everyone quick and efficient. We were on the first floor, We got to our room which was boiling hot so we opened the window/door and went down to ask for the thermostat to be changed as it wasn't working when we tried to. Someone did come and sort it but room was still hot. Then we found first night of stay there was a school prom on on they were outside under our bedroom shouting ,swearing and laughing and music was loud till early hours of the morning. Second night we woke by people drunk laughing and shouting down the corridor and three different times someone was trying to enter our room even argued with us we were in their room but they soon realised they were on the wrong floor. By the third night we were that exhausted we actually slept. Quick check out in the morning and apologies from the fella on reception about our stay and then booked us a taxi for the train station. But yes we probably will stay there again if we go to any more shows.

The food at their resturaunt was absolutely amazing. I was shocked. The 24 hour bar was awesome. Clean rooms and a simple walk from train and airport. What a great location.

The bed was very firm not my taste Food was decent Hot tub is why I booked it and it was broken I showed up at 8:33 when it was workin and they said cut off is 8:30 but closing time is 9:30 and refused to let me in!!! So pissed!!
